CollEX: Survey on researchers’ usages and requirements regarding access to STI (historical BiblioSciences)

The French Higher Education and Research Ministry has created a new document system called CollEx (“Collections of Excellence”), the aim of which is to take over in a broader framework from the CADISTs (Acquisition and Distribution of Scientific and Technical Information Centres).

The objective is to respond better to the current requirements of researchers regarding searches for print or digital information and documents in both the humanities and social sciences and in the exact, technical and medical sciences.

In this context, the Ministry has launched a survey to find out about usages and collect information on the requirements and expectations of the scientific community in the following posts: researchers, academics, doctoral students, Research Master2 students.

The online survey will close on May 12th 2016.
