Are there restrictions on downloading documents?

Yes there is a limit. If users make a series of systematic downloads which are close to each other in time, their access to resources may be suspended. We should like to draw the portal users’ attention to the fact that CNRS has made agreements with publishers which provide access for a specified community to resources made available on the portal for limited usage covered by conditions. The uses which are authorized by such licences include searching for, reading online and saving parts of the Licensed Elements* on an electronic device for personal use and printing single copies of Licensed Elements. By contrast, it is prohibited to make systematic print or digital copies of whole journal issues or multiple extracts from Licensed Elements and to use digital means to supply a user of another library or elsewhere with a digital copy of any part of the Licensed Elements which they might keep.

* Licensed Elements: articles, journal issues, database bibliographic references
