Why not choose to sign in via the Janus identity manager?

Over 25,000 of you, our users, sign in on BibCnrs via the Janus Identity Manager. The former access codes to the portal are still in use but these will be modified later this year. Therefore we would like to invite you, if you have not already done so, to choose this mode of connection which will guarantee you long-term access and give you advantages:

  1. Bookmark your favourite resources
  2. Get your search history over a period of 2 months
  3. Quickly adjust the settings on Google Scholar
  4. Define your favourite disciplinary field to run searches if you are a rights holder for more than one discipline

Connection via Janus allows you to log in to a large number of CNRS applications (Core, Simbad, Agate, Sirhus, Labintel, etc.), to define your favourite search request field in your profile when you are entitled to use at least two disciplinary fields and to save a history of your article searches for two months.

To log in, click on the first blue rectangle “Via Janus Identity Manager” and enter your Janus email login and password in the window that opens.

You can also go to the tutorial: “Sign in on BibCnrs” – duration: 4 minutes (only French version currently available).

If you do not have a login/password yet to use Janus, please go to the Sésame application.

  • 1st step: find your identity in the CNRS database and request a password. An e-mail will then be sent to your address with a link to modify your password which is valid for an hour;
  • 2nd step: click on the link in this mail and enter a new password. You can use then use your login and this password to sign in on BibCnrs.

Go to the tutorial: “Obtain a Sesame login/password” – duration: 3 minutes (only French version currently available).
