How to be recognized as a rights holder for a publisher’s site via the BibCnrs extension for Mozilla Firefox?

The BibCnrs extension for Mozilla Firefox allows you to:

  • sign in as a rights holder when you browse a publisher’s site
  • and thus obtain the full text of an article without going through the BibCnrs portal; you just need to click on the  logo  in the bar of your browser to obtain the pdf if the journal is part of the subscription of your discipline field.

Tutorial : “How to be recognized as a rights holder for a publisher’s site via the BibCnrs extension for Mozilla Firefox or Chrome?” – duration: 4 minutes 30

To install this extension

Open your Mozilla Firefox browser and go to  https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bibcnrs-url-transformer/ then click on the button “Add to Chrome” to install the extension.

Right-click on the logo      installed in your browser bar, select Options and then choose your authorized discipline field.
