– COUPERIN survey on your publishing and Open Access practices

The Couperin consortium is running a survey of researchers and research lecturers at higher education and research establishments which are members of Couperin on their scientific publication and open access practices.

The survey is part of the National Open Science Plan, announced in July 2018, which aims to generalize the open access to publications and data from publicly funded research. The French plan is part of a European movement, with the launch in September 2018 of Plan S, supported by Science Europe, and which also aims to make available open-access research publications from 2020. This development has a direct impact on the world of scientific publishing and evaluation criteria.

The survey is anonymous and is made up of four parts:

  1. practices in academic publications
  2. experience of open archives
  3. experience of pre-prints
  4. perception of the evaluation criteria.

The survey will end on April 12, 2019 and the results will be the subject of a report that will be posted on Couperin.org, Open Access France and the Ouvrir la science website which is charge of the implementation of the “National Plan for Open Science”.

The survey will take less than 15 minutes.
