Click & Read V2: a successful collaboration with Lyon 1 and Inserm

Launched a year ago, the unified Click & Read extension is evolving with a new collaborative version that opens up to the ESR by displaying the resources of the University of Lyon 1 and Inserm.

The Click & Read extension aims to simplify access to full text in fewer clicks. Developed by Inist, it scans the Internet page you visit for document identifiers (DOI, PMID, PII) and adds a C&R button if the resource is available.
In an approach of open science, the request is done in priority on the Unpaywall resources (including HAL) Istex, Panist then BibCnrs. The 2 new sources Lyon 1 and Inserm are now added.

Another functionality is born with this new version: it is now possible to order the queried sources.

Attentive to the needs of its users, the Click & Read extension is the first easy-to-install and easy-to-use tool that combines joint access to CNRS, university and other research organisations’ resources.
